My favorite places to visit (video)

salako bažnyčia

Salakas "Švč. Mergelės Marijos Sopulingosios" Church

The only church in Lithuania built from grey granite stones collected from the local area. Its grandeur and elegance attract every traveler, and its unique architecture blends perfectly with the surrounding nature.

tiltiškių vandens malūnas

Tiltiškės water mill

The decoration of the village of Tiltiškės is a stone mill built in 1936 on the banks of the Šventoji River, which housed the Zarasai Energy Museum until 2006. Currently, the mill belongs to a private owner, but its surroundings can be explored and are truly fascinating.

antalieptės marių pakrantė

Antalieptė lagoon coast

Where the Šventoji river meets the Antalieptė Lagoon, nature offers an extraordinary oasis of peace. It is a great place to enjoy the silence of the water, take a walk or have a picnic, watching the water meet the sun.

gražutės regioninio parko lankytojų centras

Gražutė Regional Park Visitor Center

The center features interactive exhibits, information about attractions, and guides who will be happy to help you plan an unforgettable itinerary. Located in the Gražutė Regional Park Visitor Center, Vida Žilinskienė's "Marine Museum" is perhaps the most remote marine museum from the ocean. It houses a number of exhibits that are definitely worth seeing.

salako pažintinis takas

Salakas educational trail

This is a circular route representing the historical town of Salakas and its surroundings, almost 5 km long. The signs of the educational trail will guide you along a wooden path along the shore of Lake Luodis, towards the observation tower. From the tower you can admire the panorama of Lake Luodis, comfortably observe water and forest birds. At the information stands of the educational trail you will discover the history of Lake Luodis, get acquainted with the alluvial forest and its ecosystem, water and forest birds.

degučių pažintinis takas

Degučiai educational trail

The trail is neither long nor difficult, so it is possible to travel with children. A beautiful forest and two swamps, into which wooden signposts have been laid, promise a good time in nature. In addition to information stands, you can also find QR codes along the trail, which, when scanned, can be used to hear the voices of birds or animals. Children like this activity. And after the walk, you can swim in the nearby Samanis Lake in the nearby swimming pools.
